Scarthingwell Golf Course is set in tranquil, rural surroundings between Tadcaster and Sherburn in Elmet. It offers an enjoyable 18 hole, 6631 yards, par 72 course and has become well established since its opening in 1990. The course provides a fair test for golfers of all abilities, as well as gaining a reputation for its friendly and informal atmosphere. Scarthingwell welcomes members, guests and visitors.

Spikes Bar, located on the ground floor of the clubhouse, extends a warm welcome to everyone, whether discussing your round of golf or a place to meet up with family and friends. Spikes Bar is open 7 days a week and offers a wide range of light bites as well as hot and cold drinks. It is the ideal setting to sit and enjoy the views from the outside terrace overlooking the course and beautiful countryside, or relax around the double-sided wood burning stove.
